I went to return my tag at the post office today but was told that it is not permitted to send batteries in the post. Please can someone confirm that the battery in the Liber-T tag is permitted for posting under these regulations http://www.postoffice.co.uk/prohibited-goods-uk. thank you

Dear Will, thanks for your question. We can assure that you are allowed to send back your liber-t device. "Lithium ion/polymer/metal/alloy batteries are allowed when sent with or contained in/connected to an electronic device, but are subject to packaging, volume and quantity restrictions. Please see Restricted Goods page. "
We send lots of devices to the UK and our customers send them back - without any problems. I hope I could help you.
